Portsmouth, New Hampshire Wedding

I've known Bev's family for many years and when it was shared that she was engaged to her Dutch boyfriend Auke I couldn't have been more excited! After meeting Auke over the summer I knew that he was the perfect fit for Bev. Together this couple can light up the room. Always ready with a smile and hug, they exude the kind of friendliness that makes strangers feel like old friends. 

This past April they celebrated their wedding with family and friends who traveled from all over the world. Holland, Turkey, New England. They even live streamed the wedding ceremony so that loved ones around the world could celebrate with them. It was a joyous day made even more special by the loved ones who traveled (or watched!) long and far to be there to support this beautiful couple. 

Bev and Auke chose details throughout their wedding that honored their unique backgrounds. Bev carried a bouquet of tulips, a nod to Auke's Dutch heritage. They were married in a quaint New England chapel, a testament to their strong faith and Bev's New England upbringing. Auke's family roasted the Groom with a hilarious skit, a Dutch tradition. Each aspect of the day honored their loved ones and paid homage to the people, experiences and heritage that make them who they are today. 

It was an honor to be a small part of Bev & Auke's day, to witness as they brought their two lives together and celebrate alongside their family and friends! Enjoy their images!

A Lakeside Inspired Wedding

Sometimes you just meet people and you click. Immediately you feel connected, like you could have been friends forever. That's how I felt when I first met Diana and Jon. We decided to connect at a local Starbucks to talk all about their upcoming wedding at Church Landing in Meredith, New Hampshire. And right away, I knew that I just HAD to work with this couple. They are two of the kindest, warmest people I have had the chance to meet, and I was honored to be a part of such an incredible day! 

It rained, no poured, on Jon and Diana's wedding day this past weekend. But despite how much water soaked into the ground, Jon and Diana couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Everything that they had dreamed of came true. Finally they were husband and wife and they celebrated every minute of their day together. Nothing is more enjoyable, more joyful, more exciting than having the honor of photographing two people who cannot wait to start the rest of their lives together.  

Jon and Diana, I hope you enjoyed a rain free few days away on the Vineyard! It was a joy to be part of such a special weekend! Enjoy!

As a wedding gift, Jon gave his Bride a lovely string of pearls to wear on her weddings day. 

Renaissance Florals did an amazing job with all the floral arrangement throughout the day. Diana's bouquet was just stunning! 

Diana gifted Jon an amazing Victorinox Swiss Army watch. 

Then it was time to get married... rain and all! 

Jaques Fine European Pastries created a spectacular cake for Jon and Diana. 

Time to dance!! Matt of World Record DJs kept everyone on their feet all night!

Summer New Hampshire Wedding at Curtis Farm

What better way to kick off the new blog than with one amazing wedding?! I knew Liz and Pat's wedding at Curtis Farm was going to be of the epic sort. Liz loves details and certainly has a great eye when putting them together. Add in their adorable sweet selves and, well, let's just say I probably squealed TOO much and said annoying phrases like O-M-G all day long! For many of Liz and Pat's friends, they'd tell you that this day has been a long time coming, after all the pair fell in love in kindergarten! Their wedding day was a celebration of all that they have been through as a couple and an anticipation of what future held ahead. It was a real joy to watch as these two love birds were married surrounded by those who loved them most!

Sarah & Steve's Wedding at The Congregational Church of Amherst and The Mile Away Restaurant

Saturday was a typical and beautiful fall day. Crisp blue skies, a hint of foliage and a light chill in the air. And since rain canceled their engagement session, twice, and since it down poured when we actually had their engagement session, we were happy and excited for clear skies on Saturday! Not a drop to be seen, all day long!

Sarah was an overjoyed bride, with a smile never leaving her face. Steve was the gentlemen, always with a gentle embrace for his wife. And with grey and yellow details and some amazing blue shoes, you really can't go wrong! It was a great day that I am so excited to share with you! So without anymore delay, here is Sarah and Steve's wedding!

Flag Hill Winery Wedding | Debs & Alex

Debs and Alex held each other tight as fireworks burst from the vineyard in front of them, a surprise treat for their friends and family who celebrated with them this past Saturday. A fitting end to months of hard work and planning. But Saturday wasn't the end, in fact it's just the beginning. The beginning of a life spent together. Debs and Alex's wedding was a direct reflection of who they are not only as a couple, but as individuals. Personal details told the story of their love while friends and family, who played an important role in their relationship, celebrated with them. Saturday was an celebration of love and marriage, of two people coming together and becoming one.
